The early sedans(maybe only autos?) had mechanical fans. The mechanical is quite heavy. Just by switching to an electric fan frees up alot of power. especially when partnered with UR underdrive pulleys. If you had a kit to either power these fans safely or that included the fans alot of people would buy these. It really makes the car alot more responsive.

Another idea would to include the dual electric fans from a 350z.

Thank you for your time.

Whoever replied to you is a complete idiot if he can't decipher between an inquiry and a suggestion.

I'll do the leg work if anybody needs help.

I don't feel like persuing another business venture, but if there's a sedan in SoCal with the mechanical fan that wants some help with the swap, email me or discuss it here. I can also talk to my friend at the local Infiniti dealership about options.

Eh, its just a very generic response. I'm sure it might have a chance for suggestion. Just think of all the emails they have to go through...

I just think it would be a simple kit with opportunities to have high profit gains. I doubt much research would have to be done. People have been doing fan conversions on old muscle cars for YEARS.

Why pay the extra bux for the Stillen name? Not dismissing what Stillen does for the community but a fan upgrade is not a major ordeal for the most part.

No reason so pay them double to collect info that we can get from talking to a few people and compiling ourselves.

Lets get to work!

I already did the conversion. So i'm not too concerned. I just thought it would be an easy way for them to throw a unique kit together that isn't offered anywhere for the g35. A kit with little to no R&D, cheap parts, and high mark up. Plus just having the kit offered would educate the people. Let them know that early model sedans have a mechanical fan that robs them of valuable power.
