I have a question about the plastic (Nylon?) bushing attached to the bottom of the shifter, the small one that actually moves the transmission rails. The OBX short shifter I installed had a smaller diameter bushing than the one on my stock shifter. I installed it this way thinking maybe the change in the fulcrum point needed it but, it has too much play to be correct. Two Nissan dealers claimed they couldn't provide an OEM bushing. I could probably remove the one from the stock shifter but I'd prefer to source a new on if possible. I did a search on short shifters and read all I could but didn't see any references to this part. Anyone got a source or Nissan P.N. Thanks - PB:cool:
