Short Throw Shifter Help

So I was installing my Short Throw Shifter from raceline, and I was at the part where it says 'gently pry off the cable from the pivot joint'. Most people say 'yank on that mother ****er' but I actually went the gentle way and was doing it gently, after about 2 minutes it popped off... bent... when I pushed it back on later, it went on very smoothly..... and broke.... Sooo Now I'm kinda screwed, Is this something that I will be able to fix, or is this something that I'm going to need to take to a dealership to get fixed? I've heard about people breaking it before and I'm curious what they did. Here is a picture of it

edit: I'm not sure if this helps any, but the car only has 14k miles on it.
