Short throw Shifter DIY Boot install

This is for the cheap style short throw shifters that don't allow for lower boot and leak trans fluid out. (circuit sports v1, Megan, Fidanza, Ralco, Ebay, Ect.)

but i heard these short shifters are s*** compared to ones that have the transmission plate attached to them

for instance b&m SS

thats what ive heard but so far mines been good, and what realy defines s***, maybe they installed it wrong. who knows!

Wow, thats really good thinking dude. I never really understood how those things mount on the trans though

so you get more if any mis-shifts since going SS i heard regardless of the brand this happens?

I've never heard of this? You'd maybe miss a few at first getting used to it. Nothing wrong with the shifter itself though
