step one: open the box.

step two: read the instructions.

step three: go and buy a name brand shifter after that one breaks or youre pissed off with the performance.

*edit* professional installation recommended i wonder why?

well, i assume you could get a lot of info from the write-ups that other members have done. theres one that is more used for removal of the shifter to add new transmission fluid that should help, and theres also someone's writeup on their b&m install, although the difference in shifters is like chocolate and doo doo. (no offense). search it up!

The shifter plate on the eBay shifter seems to be missing 2 holes for bolts...or is that even the shifter plate?

...and here's the install page for you:

All you do is take out the shifter nothing major. It just sets on top of the factory plat of the trans. I used to have the same one untile I up graded to a jdm short shifter that looks like a b&m short shifter. The bushing on that type brake easy and the shifter becomes really loose in each gear and it sucks knowing that u can move the shifter round in a big circle.

Take off the shift knob, boot and the rubber boot. Take of the C clip. Pull the old shifter out and put new shifter in and reinstall C clip.
