Time for some new tires for the winter, my Yoko T4's are beat, impressed with the cheapness of those tires even held up. Have ran them about half used for 20k miles since they were on the body when i got it and i seriously doubt i will get a sticker with them. Thinking an all season for this winter for my Fittipaldis and i'm going to do a whole new rim/tire package this spring, so i don't want to spend a pretty penny. Any suggestions on some all seasons in the 90-150 a pop range? I get a discount on good years so im leaning in that direction,

225/60R 15 -

I'm thinking about increasing the diameter on the rear. Right now I have some nearly new Eagles on the rear.

I do need to get the wheels professionally restored and the tires all from the same model - manufacturer before I put it in the first show February 11.

Are you looking for snow tires or all season that you'll run all year round?

IDK really, I wanted to get some other infiniti rims in the spring and wanted to get the Fittipaldi's dipped and then powder coated and some snow tires on them but honesty, the Q is the only one in running form at the moment and i really need a sticker. I in MA you get a point for "failure to inspect" rather than a warning, a 50$ ticket or a tow if you have a bid ole red R for reject. So im thinking of getting some cheap 100$ a tire crappy things, selling them for 50$ each in the spring when i get my new rims, and then fixup the Fittipaldis in the summer. And also the guy with the other Q i was SUPPOSED to buy is d!ck me around with the price saying he has another buyer for more $ so i told him to decide by sunday when i can make it down or im out. Its been over a month now and hes had like 6 people back out from ranges of 1000-800$, i offered a firm 500$ and he said yes, i set up time after time to go pick it up but he is still hesitant.

The best all season tire for the Q in 15" as has been discussed in hundreds of previous posts is the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S (225/60 R15 96V). Some members have seen 50,000+ miles with these tires. Tire rack has them on sale for $120 each since there's a rebate on right now.

If you want to spend less money, some members have said they had good luck with Kumho.
Those sell for $70 - $80.

Update:

Tire Rack has the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S in 215 65 R15 96H on sale for $68.50 each after the rebate!

Cooper touring CS4 225/60R16 lists at $131 (4 @ $522) at the shop, i get 25% off on all 4 so i can get 4 for about just under $400 I have hadd luck with coopers on other cars but haven't ran any on the Q. Anyone have anything bad to say about the Cooper tourings?

Hey Craig,

How wide are your Fittipaldi wheels? I am thinking about finding wheels like yours for better handling with close to OEM size.

Wider=Better in the dry summer right? If so this is the best as of now for close to OEM size: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp ... mpare1=yes

The outer to outer measurement is 8" which I think is a 7.5" rim. As a comparison, the 2007 Maxima rims I bought for the 99 DSC4 are 8.5" at the outside which I believe are true 8" rims. Those rims extend out of the 99's fender area to give the car a slightly more aggressive look.

I picked up 2 reconditioned (look like new) 07 Maxima rims on Ebay for $120 each -- delivered.. I had bought a set of 4 with tires for $280 but 2 of the rims turned out to be warped. So my total outlay on the Maxima wheel project is now $520.

The wheels you got off Ebay are not covered by the buyer protection?

Are you interested in selling your Fittipaldi wheels?

By The Way (BTW) Steve I am buying Nokian WR G2 Tires in the OEM size for my car. They are said to be the best tire thats actually a true all season. But they are pricy!
