Yup. I have an OBX 240sx shifter in my SR20DET transmission.

Also, the B&M is a good shifter, but makes a really annoying rattling noise. The OBX doesn't make any noise.

obx is like 99, and b&m is just over 200. I heard obx is better for the money from everyone

Don't the OBX's the ones that have broken more than once? I've heard better things about the Pilot shifters.

they dont 'break', they are two piece (the b&m is one piece), so people had a problem with them coming apart because of poor adhesive, so the way to solve it was to either pull it apart when you get it, and use a better adhesive so it never does come apart (ie, window urethane), and wont have that problem, or wait till it comes loose, then put that in, and seal it, or some have just welded it.....

mine never came apart till i made it, then i sealed it and never had a problem...

the pilot is the same as the obx, 2 piece (its probrobly made by the same company sold under too names, same reason pilot and obx strut bars are so similar, etc.)

Oh ok. Weren't there two versions of the OBX shifter? Maybe the good things I've heard about the pilot are from the second version. I've heard that the first version was the OBX and the second was Pilot. Damn contrasting stuff on the internet. If I had gotten my short shifter yet, I would tell people straight up.

everyone has different opinons though. I just dont wanna spend 220 for a b&m short shifter when i can get a pretty good one for like 100. Where did you see the obx for 70? is that including shipping, id prolly pick one up.
