90240sx, a short shifter shortens the length of your throw.

gray240sx,C's - http://www.jspec.com/csshifter.html B&M - http://www.optauto.com/webstore/product ... &dept=1034 OBX & B&M - http://w1.igateway.com/clients1/tc/stor ... %20shifter

OBX is the cheapest. C's is the most expensive. I think that C's and B&M are preferred. There was a problem with the old OBX short shifters, but I think that revised ones have been released. Hope this helps.

It is just a matter of preference. Some people prefer not having to 'row' through gears. I don't think that driver skill really matters -- it just contributes to the fun factor.

It doesn't matter if you're a good shifter. Drive an Integra LS, GS-R, or SI, and you'll see why people want short shifters. Having the gears closer is better.

Go with C's or B&M. The OBX one is made of aluminum, making it more likely to break. That happened to a friend of mine, shifted and it broke in his hand, that has to be the worst feeling.

I agree with the others. I wouldn't want to buy an OBX based on the problems i've been told. Spend a bit more money and buy the B&M.

The C's has got to be the absolute best quality shifter on the market. Ive heard B&Ms rattle or dont install correct sometimes. C's is a perfect drop in replacement with a lot shorter shift pattern. Worth the extra money to me.

I dont have an obx, or any short shifter for that matter, but I have heard that even though the obx's sometimes break, they are very easy to fix. THere is another post around here somewhere about this. Once again, another question that could have been answered by the search button . . .

I've just got an OBX short shifter and the new ones are well made, there made from chromed steel and there very sturdy.
