its funny when I read about short shifters for the 240, when I first got it I liked how short the throws were compraed to the stock shifter in my TA. Now I got a ripper shifter in the TA though and it kciks.

I've heards the C's ones were spose to be good too, I'll eventually get some sort of short shifter for the 240... like the other guy said, a search on this topic will yield a ton of results for ya :)

OBX has greatly improved there's lately, it is still a copy of the C's and for about $200 less that C's. The people I know who had them only had a couple complaints and they looked at my new one said that OBX had changed them to fix the problem. BTW I got mine for $90 shipped -- go to ebay and search it. It may say for SR but they are the same.

The Nismo is *NOT* a short shifter. It might seem like a short shifter but it is called a "Power Shifter" because it is only a one-piece design that is made to be stronger than the stock unit, not to shorten it. It is still the same length as the stock unit. Just thought you should know...

Even if it is still the same height as the stock shifter how do you know it doesn't give you shorter shift? A short shifter doesn't necessarily have to be short in length. A short shifter is a shifter that gives you a shorter throw in shifts that's basically it. Have you done a comparison personally with the nismo shifter and the stock shifter? Not trying to be a punk or anything. Just making sure facts are truly being said.

Hey biggie, have you installed your obx short shifter yet? If so what do you think after driving with it?

Anyone thought about the B&M. I have one and I love it. Way short shifts and very precise. Only problem I have is that is it a bit noisy. But I have deadened the shaft with lead and that makes it bearable to me.

Have I ever tried the Nismo? No... But these people over at Zilvia.net have, and they all say it doesn't shorten the shift at all. Look here: http://www.zilvia.net/reviews/...at=26

If you read the reviews, they all say exactly what I mentioned above. See what I mean now? Of course, I'm not trying to be a punk or anything... ;)

Do NOT but one of these C-types from ebay. I ordered one, and it is a POS and it is missing parts!!! I'm ordering a quality B&M!!! It's not like these cheap rigged ones, it replaces the entire top plate with all new hardware. You can get a B&M for $225, It's worth it!!

that sequential shifter is bad a$$, but, thats just too much to spend unless you are building a race car. Mine will just be a street fighter, as was my GN!!
