Way to go!! Welcome to the 5-speed vert club If I may suggest your next mod:

A B&M short throw shifter. If you think it feels sporty now...wait until you switch out the old sloppy stock shifter for one of these. Perhaps one of the best mods I've done to date.

Same here. I love my B&M shifter. It makes driving 5-speed more fun. Check out my write up.

It's about $200.

the B&M shifter is F'n rad. Love mine! You could easily find one for under 200, you just gotta look in the right places.

Or if you'd rather, come to Carlisle and drive someone's 240 with a B&M, that will convince you! Speaking of which, are you coming to Carlisle? It's not too far from you.
185 on Atlanticspeed + shipping. BiXLL, request a pricematch from one of our sponsors: http://www.frsport.com/B-M-45088-Short- ... _1194.html

5 speed... BOOOOOO, j/k j/k - glad you got everything worked out.

You are only happy with it because you don't know what your missing. The grass is def. greenier on the short throw shifter side

I drove my friend's s13 with B&M shifter and I got hooked. There was no way I could settle with OEM shifter. On the other hand, not everyone likes B&M.

As far as I know, Nismo and C's are not as short and tight as B&M.

The B&M is tighter from left to right and a little shorter up and down. I have a C's 'copy' in my coupe, but have driven a few cars with a B&M. I can't make myself spend the $200 on the B&M, but may go with a copy sometime.

There are B&M copies on ebay and some have had good reviews, usually under $100.

Wow, if mine is nismo then i can't imagine how close B&M would be. I learned how to drive stick on the short throw on my vert and I would shift into 5th all the time when going to 3rd
