Hey how did you remove the top plate on your stock shift so you can replace it with that BM knock off one? I got the knock off too but I just can't remove the stock.

No bro the stock plate that were being held down by 6 bolts, after I removed the bolts it still being sealed down tight by some kind of gasket I think? I can't pull it off or anything?

i didnt have any problems, mine just pulled off, so the only thing i can say is that maybe the person b4 u jv welded it on or sumn.

lol nah it definitely stock, doesn't seem to be weld but I can see a gasket between the top and bottom plate, I just can't remove it, well not without cracking it open with a hammer and a big flat head screwdriver or something, but I also don't have the right angle for that, well thx anyway.

can you get some pics, also i meant jb weld not jv weld, its like a kind of glue that sticks to any rough surface and is strong as crap, if thats the case, you are only gonna be able to get it off by prying it outta there
