I have the b&m shifer on my 98 and I'm very hapy with it. It's a little costly compared to the obx. But when you pull it out of the box you'll know why. It gives a very noticable shift differance that's well worth the money.

Welcome to the board. Next time try using the search function of the board(red button on top right corner). Both your questions have been covered several times and what your looking for can be easily found.

I also have the B&M in my 98 and i love it.:)

go with the b&m or if you got the money go with c;s shortshifter.. c;s is regarded as the best shortshifter for 240's.. almost every shortshifter was based off the c;s ss design, so to put it in terms everything is a knock off compared to c's. c;s is what i have and it was worth every damn penny.

congrats on the nissan, im sure you will love it. But dont give up on the crx project. the HF model is extremely light and with a b16 swap can be pretty damn fast. But if you gotta choose only one to throw money at definatly go with the 240, its a lot more fun to drive.

yeah yo the reason i left the crx as my project car was because i wanted a RWD car either that or an AWD and i guess the RWD was what i got my hands on first.... actually i was looking for a cheap WRX and thats almost impossible so i bought the 240 and im very satisfied.

ok i looked around on the internet and i read that the c's sits alot higher than the B&M that the shift is reduced but it looks like stock height which for me is something i do not like i love how my B&M sits on my crx so i decided to go with that thanks... oh... i found it on http://www.enjukuracing.com/ for 250 and most of the other places i have found it was more expensive... is there any site that anyone out there knows that it is sold cheaper? also this store is in winter park FL so i think i will get my girlfriend to go buy it when shes down there visiting her father she only lives like 1 hour away... but if anyone finds it cheaper let me know... later!

B&M and C's are regarded as the best. SEARCH for "short shifter" etc, and go to http://www.google.com and search for everything else you are wondering. People here like the B&M if they've got the dough, OBX isn't as good, but it does reduce throw and only costs $100. Ken at Enjuku is one of the best places around, great prices, quick shipping, reliable.
