i did, the damn thing was one of those "put the collars around the little lip on the stock shifter mount" types. it was 20 bux, and i couldnt for the life of me get it to stay on right. then i ended up just buying the japanese equivalent to the b&m, so now im really happy. especially since i bought it for 60$ and 4 used tires moral of the story, DONT GET NO NAME EBAY SHIFTERS

I got an ebay short shifter and I don't recomend getting one from ebay since I had to mod the shifter to get the **** thing to fit and know I hear the drive shaft when in reverse.

The only shifter you should get from america is a B&M. I have it, and it works awsome. Spend the money, you will never regret it.

PREACH IT BROTHA!!!

This man speaks the truth. This is arguably the best short shift for the 240sx here in the US, and the only one me and several of my friends swear by. You can get it for around $180 and it is worth every penny. As opposed to replacing just the shifter shaft, the B&M comes with the whole shifter assembly combined with a new mounting plate. The install is easy as well and almost foolproof. This link is a must have for many 240sx installs, but this one is for the shifter.

wow, that sucks for everyone, i have an ebay shifter, installed fine, works fine for the last 4 months, it rattles at high rpm like the bm, but i paid 1/5th what everyone else did. i must say that im happy. mine is the obx style btw, but a huge post on zilvia a lot of people bought the ebay bm style and said it was just as good, just way cheaper.
