i'm thinking of upgrading my shifter to a short shifter the OBX Short Shifter is 100 and the B&M is 230 is the obx just as good as the b&m

If you want to drfit, I dont recommend the short shifter.most people that I know that drift also ..dont like them either.Id'e keep the stock.

There is a noticeable difference between the B&M and the OBX. A $130 difference? I don't think so. Get the OBX unless you got the funds. It'll do the job and feel 100 times better than stock.

good question. i drift with my short shifter but never tried using the stock. i also don't shift much when i drift. i just keep it at 2nd and shift when i need to.

I tried and didnt like it I mean its a personal thing though...a few guys i talked to also sayed they dont like it, most say because of the sensitivity difference ..compared to stock, more used to the rough shifting...but like i said.. depends on how you adapt.i prefer the short for regular driving though...

Has anyone tried the HKS spring kit that phase2 sells? Looks like it keeps stock throw but stiffens detent/center on the stock stick.

i can't stand short shifters. I have a B&M in mine and i hate it. The car came with it....so i left it in.

I was wondering if anyone else hated them as well...i'm glad to see i'm not the only one.
