I was wondering what would be best, to buy a shorter shift lever or to buy a short shifter adapters?

Which would be easier to install as well?

Short throw shifter reduces the distance needed to mechanically make the shift.Shorter shifter just decreases the distance the top of the shift lever moves. You get a shorter throw but also sacrifice leverage.

Both are pretty much the same to install, so you might as well step up to a real short throw instead of just a shorter stick.

lol, if you need the leverage to get it into gear you may want to have a look at your transmission...But I agree, buy one of those B&M nockoffs that comes with the plate and everything assembled...at that point its super easy to do and is better then one that fits back in the stock plate.

Your gonna loose leverage even with a real short throw as it moves the pivot point upward BTW but I would much rather keep my shifter the same length since shorter shifters look dumb and are further out of your reach.
