Frankly, the only way to get em is to roll up your sleeves and get dirty. Real dirty. You have to reach up way far into the top of the trans tunnel. Feel around for the bolts, then try to slip a wrench on. They're 12mm. It's going to take you a long time because you can only get like 1/4 turn on the wrench at a time. You can also try attacking the front two from inside the car using 12mm stubby wrenches, but you're bound to drop the wrenches and get pissed.

Have lots and lots of beer on hand, because it's going to be dirty, frustrating, and time-consuming. Enjoy.

Either that, or drill two holes in your chassis above the bolts. That is a really, really ghetto way to do it though, and I wouldn't advise you to do that.

ah, those are pilot motorsports/ obx style as seen in http://www.240sx.org install section...

they're talking about the B&M style where the shifter & plate are a single unit & have to be bolted onto the transmission... via taking off the OEM one...

in hindsight, i woulda purchased the latter style... but no $ soo

i've got an obx/pilot motorsports style, but am awaiting until my car's 240,ooo mile mark to reward my piggy for it's long reliable service...

Sears sells ratcheting box wrenches. Or just suck it up and do 1/8 turns and flip the wrench.
