short shifter help

i picked up a used shortshifter for $20, i figured why not for the price, it arrived and looks pretty simple, i've never installed one before, is it pretty much plug and pray?
there's a small 1/2" cylinder on teh botton that i assume a bar goes through, and then a plate above that with 3 screws, then the shifter..

Yes, pretty much straightforward. Once you get the center console apart it'll make a lot more sense.

Lol, just regular deployment. 8 freakin months of it. It was only supposed to be 5 at first, but we knew that wouldn't last.
