I'm currently building a 1990 240sx with a rb26 and a rb25 5spd transmission. Does anyone know where I can get a short shift kit for my car and would I need one from a skyline for it to work?

I think you should go with a sqential shifter from Ikeya Formula, they at about $1100. Thats the "I"pattern and does not require the sequential transmission.

Any SS for the 240 will work. Ask SpecV-150, (I think that's right)

anyways, I just got a SS from him, and he tried it on his RB before he gave it to me. He said it fit just fine.

I got mine off a forums for 45 plus shipping. I dont know the brand off hand. The seller also had the stick shortened. Thus making it incompatible with my Nismo shift knbo, so I traded it to red240 for a gauge cluster trim, upper dash vents and a windshield wiper switch.

it's a pilot SS. it's awesome, basically like brand new. i don't like the knob that much though.

Have any pics Red?? When I was looking at the takakaira website, those seemed to be more built for the RHD. But those also are running for 1000 bucks.

Oh was this a RB20 or 25?

Yeah that knob blows. We jacked it from an abadoned junk yard. My friend took it for some odd reason.
