short ram cold air, KA24E

:help wondering if anyone has done a short ram, cold air intake. I've had a theroy. (I actually don't have any cash so my theroy is all I got for now) If you re-locate you battery out back, as I have already done, and extend your MAS sensor wires and your air temp wires, if you could cut a hole and do a short tube down into your wheel well where your battery was (with appropriate vaccume lines attached) would this work??? or am I just riding on hopes and dream.

hasn't this been covered? in fact, isn't this part one of the how-to's on 240sx.org? try searching next time :-)
