short ram air intake?

I have been wanting to put a short intake on my 240 but I heard that it screws up the maf. I have experimented with it on the track and there was a decent power gain but the engine would stall at idle and it ran very rough unless the throttle was all the way open. Is there a way to make a short ram intake without affecting the maf?

Should work. Just remember to connect all the necessary vacuum lines to the intake.

just get the injen intake and u will be totally fine, (around 200 bucks) and its street legal if u are worried about the whole smog thing =D
