Hello guys

I'm thinking about getting a SR for my 3.5 CVT, but I heard a lot of complaints about the MAF sensor problem (which I don't know what it is about).
Since I use my car daily, and it is still under warranty, and I really don't want to fix it every now and then, I want something that will work with no problems. Should I get the SR? or should I spend my money else where?
Have anyone heard anything about a SR from HPS? Its for sale on ebay for $176 which is about $50 less than Injen SR.
And is it easy to install and uninstall? I might be removing frequently.

I got this intake for my A/C:http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2011-Nissa ... 2845wt_932

It didn't come with the heatshield, though. Installed it in less than 30 minutes. No problems with the MAF sensor. Only bad thing about it (doesn't really matter, though), is that the little bar that's supposed to make the intake more firm and not move around a lot didn't reach the spot it was supposed to.

Didn't matter to me though, because I check it every now and then (at least once a month) and make sure the couplers are tight where the intake matches up with the intake manifold.

Thanks!
Will consider that intake for sure!
I heard that the Injen SR is really good... What makes it better than any other SR?!

If memory serves, you disconnect the battery before install and it resets the maf for the new air flow. That's what I did anyway and I've had no issues.

Heard that from many people! This has got to be the best way!
Thanks for the tip!

That is the proper way to install it. I have the Injen SRI and I absolutely love it, great sound and no issues with my dealership

Injen is great. People with MAF issues have either mishandled the unit during installation or maybe over oiled the air filter when the cleaned it.

You'll like the new vocals of your engine with an SRI. Especially if you have the VQ35.

Any SRI? Or are you talking about a specific brand?

That's ok, did you notice any power difference from the SRI?

I have the Injen SRI. My butt dyno told me that I was as bad a** as a 350Z.... until I raced one. Definite difference in power and noise, but nothing substantial. SRI's aren't as big on power as a CAI. But I love the way it roars, especially with my new GReddy exhaust.
