Just wanted to share this. Many of you are familiar with what I like to call a "picky" approach to detailing and paint correction. (Others call it anal). I tried something different than my usual multiple-day detail and paint correction. I do it twice each year, but since the car has only gained about 1,000 miles this year, I was looking for a short cut, and I found it. I bypassed the compounding, polishing and protection steps with the random orbital. That cut out the three biggest time consuming steps.
Step 1) snow foam soak and rinse
Step 2) hand wash and rinse
Step 3) decontamination with Gyeon TAR, followed by Gyeon IRON.
Step 4) claybar
Here is where the shortcut comes in. I worked on one 2 X 2 panel at a time. I wiped it with Gyeon PREP, then applied Produxa for protection. I have to say, it surprised me. Of course there is a catch. IF your car has heavy swirls or scratches - you have no choice but compound and polish. BUT, luckily my car hasn't been driven much and has sat inside since the last full-on paint correction in Jan 21. Only time will tell how long Produxa will last but it's been driven in heavy rain twice this week and a simple squirt with the hose cleaned it right up.
