I have been reading up on 240 swap cars and found that no matter how much I would like to do the swap myself, there is no way i have the time or space.

My question is, are there any shops in the Pa/Ohio/Maryland area that anyone knows of that do good work?

Thanks(Tried to search, but couldnt find much...sorry if this is the wrong forum)

P.S. If you know someone with a clean rb25det powered 240 that is looking to sell in the area let me know

theres a shop here in southeast michigan doing my swap. actually i just got off the phone with them about 1.5 hours ago. told them i was going to pick it up at the end of april. its called the tuning factory. 2 well known local shops merged.

lemme know if you need a phone number, or need any info. they dont currently have a website, but they do a fair share of out of state cars.

no, no!! it's "do it yourself! it will put some nutz on your hair!"

there is a shop down here in Columbus that has done an rb... http://www.midwestpd.com

or, bring it down here, and i'll drop her in! but, like rb20detodd said.. do it yourself, it's a great experience, and not that difficult to do.. just do some homework and lots of planning to eliminate that down time!! good luck!

Yes good experience, and when you have any probs after the swap later down the road you will find yourself less retarded.

dude contact Jon Powell at motorsport studios he did my swap, and he was one of the first to do them on the east coast. the quality is great, the prices are excellent and he is located in albany NY. and if you have anything else to do to your car he can do it all. he litterally build my car from the ground up. so find him. i think his web site is motorsportstudios.com

that's the best reason why ppl should install em themselves... to be able to know what you've done, and diagnosing later... and make your own repairs...
