I currently am getting a sr20 installed at a shop in Salisbury MD and my car has been there since Oct. I knew the guy wouldn't have done right away but I'm not waiting any more. What shops are there around Philly and dover are there that will do this for me. I have abuot $ 6500 to spend all together. Oh yeah how much trouble will it be to get my money back. He already has the engine it's all right But I paid 2500 for a red top w/out a ecu should I take it or tell him to give me all of my money back.

If you are sick of waiting then I would say keep the engine you have. Otherwise you are right back to square one, and SR's always seem to take a while to get. Obviously get an ECU from somewhere, but I don't know why you paid $2500 for an engine with no ECU.

If you don't mind getting a bit dirty, just have some one rip out the KA and bolt up the SR and transmission. Any shop should be able to do that in a day or two for like $300-400. Then all you have to do is mess around with some wires and a few hoses and you're ready to rip.

If someone had my car since october I would have told them to go f*** themselves by late november

it's hard to tell how hard it will be to get your money back because I don't know what kind of deal you had going on. but if someone had my car for 6 months and didn't do s**** to it, and then wanted to keep my money....well I'm afraid violence would mostly likely result from that situation.

what year is the car? If you are willing to come down to the DC area I can do the swap for you. I think that you should not get the engine and wait because a 1 month wait from heavythrottle will get you the best engine for your money and it will come with everything you need. They cost 2500 through them. Jeff is a great guy. You can contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions.

thanksTom

Well he was supposed to have it done in Jan. but the roof of his shop fell in so he had to move but he should of at least started it by now I'm going down there on Friday to see what's up. If he hasn't even started it I going to demand my money back but the only problem is that he already has some of my stuff to do the swap.
