I recently replaced my Nissan alternator. I shopped at a few local stores before purchasing a rebuilt at a local Autozone. The cost was $225.00. During the install I decided to replace the belt and went to another Autozone to get it. The second store was about 6 miles from my home and 7 miles from the first store. The same alternator was only $145.00 at the second store. I did get the first store to give me a refund, but I wonder how many people payed the $225.00 price. A store employee told me that there are differences in prices from one store to another, but I think $80.00 is a bit much.

One of those could be a new alternator and the other one is probably a reman alternator. My experience with reman stuff = junk. If it's a little more, go with the new part vs the reman crap.
