It's not that unusual for car parts to fluctuate by $100. Buyer beware is always my best advice. I shop at Summit and Jegs all the time.

If you use a BOV, make sure you have the MAF in a blow-thru set-up, otherwise you'll have stalling issues. That or make sure the BOV isn't vented to the atmosphere. As far as which one I'd use? I've always supported turboxs products.

Either of these, depends on your set-up. Bypass Valve or BOV

Because recirculating types don't release premeasured air. When a BOV vents to the atmosphere, the air that is being released has already been accounted for by the MAF. When you vent that air you cause an overly rich condition. Hence the stall trouble everyone has when they use a BOV that is vented to the atmosphere. A sealed system performs better then one that isn't. Factory vehicles with a BOV have it vented to return for a reason.

When I had my turbo 240, I heard my bov just fine, despite being recirculated. As for being just fine vented, consider their tune. I'm not up to date on the newest stuff but the Greddy E-manage had an anti-stall tuning parameter. It is possible to make it work, but a stock-like tune will likely stall.

Yeah just do blow-thru. Its better in pretty much every way. If you blow an intercooler coupling, you can still get home.

Oh and Greddy's anti-stall function should have been called "gurantee to stall" function.

so i looked the tial 50mm up because that seems to be the one most cars on ka-t are using. that bov is no longer in production. it's been replaced with tial Q. The tial Q blows off 60% more per cylinder and still is a 50mm. ok guys this isn't a recirculated bov and neither was the tial 50mm. so will this have the stalling issues? and if thats the case. I like the turbonetics duo. you can take the horn off and use it for a recirculating setup.
