Don't forget to take your insurance, your driver's license and enough personal information to complete a "Stip Package."Stip is short for stipulations. It's a special finance thing. Don't let the words special finance scare you. More than a few people have to go through special finance as Repo can probably attest. Bringing this information with you will save you an additional trip to the dealer.

6 personal referencesThree year job historyThree year residence historyLast two pay stubsAt least two utility bills in your name

It's important that you are relaxed when you go to buy a car but remember, it's still a business transaction. Do your best to make it an easy one.

Shift_shopWhich new Nissan are you most anticipating the release?

Yep. Good advice. Also, have a co-signer in mind if you're going through special finance. It's always good to have that person agree to cosign for you before you get into a deal so that they don't feel too pressured.

If you do go through special finance, be prepared to agree to a higher rate. Know what the highest rate allowed by your state law is so you don't get hosed.
