If ur lookin to jus swap the motor then why pay somebody 1500 dollars to turn sum bolts and plug some connectors....Do it urself it's not hard but if u want quality then send ur harness to wiring specialties(508-274-0464) for like 150 u can have a professionally made up harness...and then that other 1300 u was gonna spend could go to something else like some goodies

absolutely true... i have looked at some dvd's and books on how to do it but for a person with limited space and tools i figure it would be better to go to a reputable shop. besides i'm not looking to go insane with the power. i just needed a swap done to finally start driving my 240. i have had the rolling shell for over a month now and i would really like to start driving it.

i have used the search engine and found g-dimensions in industry, JR autoparts in el monte and the sr20 store in gardena. has anyone heard anything about these shops?

Best way to do it is doing it yourself. You will know the engine like the back of your hand

I agree with Justin wholeheartedly on that! If anything goes wrong or needs replacing, it's already mapped out in your mind. But if you really want to get a shop make sure you talk to someone who has actually used that particular place so you can get a idea of what to expect as far as their work goes.
