Down I-85 ... BIG highway ( GA residents know... i hope)

Cruising at 80-90 at around 3:30AM... when a buddy wanted a quick race... of course "WE" said ok ... race started off normal , got up to 140-160 and then eased off....

THEN .... Brakes shot?!?! Our car had NO brake pressure at all

Long story short... no one was hurt.. car was Emergency stopped by slamming into the median

Good to hear no one was hurt, and that sucks that the G got wrecked. But why go into the median, why not go thru the gears or something? Unless it was a real emergency and you really needed to stop quickly...

Whats the real story?

He was racing against his friend lawn mower, (s2k), was losing pretty bad, so instead of looking like a fool, losing to a lawn mower, he slammed into a median instead. Saying, I would of won, but the median was in the way. Your S2k can't keep up.

-----------------And doesn't your BRO own a shop? So was it his shop? And I don't know about you but if you're on the freeway and the brakes don't work, why not just let go of the gas and ride it out? Eventually, you slow down enough to safely pull over and call a tow truck...

Also, the G is equipped with an EMERGENCY BRAKE, use it...

Did the brake works before you went racing? Such as, driving out of the shop and stopping at a red light b4 entering the freeway?

Or, are you a newbie and instead of stepping on the brake, you stepped on the clutch?

Sorry guys, been busy with work .. havnt been on in a LONG time ...

We were going pretty damn fast slamming threw the gears would of made us lose control and more than likely ... DEATH ... ill try to get some pics up up for sale on salvage yard if anyone wants a semi-totaled car...

BTW engine is gone ... MY aftermarket rims are gone .. I MISS my MOTEGIs!

Probally now , since that "WAS" my car after it was going to get finished ... i think ima just move on to a "STOCK" 240SX or 300ZX TT

----ALSO----If you did'nt know using the E-Brake at high speeds is very dangerous ... more than likely you WILL lose control. he was driving around 160 when brakes let out, and highway was almost gone thats why he had to

it was around the 185 - 85 Greenville area. end of 185 and a transition to normal streets.

Wasnt my brothers shop, his is in Chamblee .. this one is in Duluth
