I want to find a shop I can take my 240 to to get regular maintenance and performance mods done near west San Jose.

Right now I need to replace a couple joints and want to install my z32 rear brakes but also want to eventually fix ding/dents/paint.

Preferably I would also want someone who can setup the engine for a reliable mild turbo setup that could pass smog.

Any recommendations?

VEX motorsports is off 101. i take my car there for alignments and other random stuff . they do a lot of aftermarket stuff with 240's.

yeah for the most part. i mainly went to them for alignments.. they'll do a basic starting at $70 then add $10 for anything else...( toe, camber, caster, rear align..) all that good stuff. also i used to get a ton of used tires from them usually $5-$10 ea. for mountable tires. bought a set of tension rods through them for $130 and they said they'd install and do a full align. for and extra $60. they are good guys and will work with you and your needs.
if you go there... tell em the "felton 240 kid" sent you ..

will do. also, do you happen to know if they can replace weather stripping on your car? i've lost my door ones and the front windshield is leaking cause the rubber on the sides and top are coming off.

im not sure if they do any of that i know they have a guy in that does custom upholstry . for the front window you will probably have to go to a window repair tech. but you never no.
