Shop install sr20det question???????????

I was just wondering if any of ya'll know how much a shop would charge me for installing an sr20 in my 96 240sx base model. I was really just trying to get an idea and see if that will even be an option.... and i know a lot of people are gonna say do it yourself but i have no tools and no garage to do it in and no knowledge about engines at all. but if yall could give me an idea about the price that would be greatThanks

different shops will have different prices. given that none of us work at the shops you might be having your swap done at, how do you expect us to tell you?

pick up your yellow pages and find some shops in your area, call and ask for estimates. if its worth having it done there, they will have done enough that they can give you almost an exact quote for time and cost.

anywhere from 2000-8000 depending on the shop, the extra parts, which motorset, the upgrades, and if the shop knows you dont know what your talking about, they will tack on a few hundred extra, thats the automotive buisness. so do your research on whats gonna be done before you go talk to them. you will get a good idea if they know their *** from a hole in the ground as well.
