Shop around San Francisco / Bay Area

Hi

I just got my first 1990 240sx today and im happy to join the forums. I want to give my car a regular check up. Does anyone know a good auto mechanic or shop in the bay area around san francisico that can do general work on my car preferably one that specializes in nissans.

i did a search but it is unclear which ones are good or up and running still. Please any suggestions, experiences, etc. would greatly help me out.

Its not in San Fran but it is in the bay area near san jose. This guy can do anything to a 240sx

The guy who runs this shop is named Luke. He has great rep. in the 240sx community.

Yarnell's in Mountain View is also a good shop. I have had both Nissans (Infinitis) and Toyota's I have owned serviced there.

go to manji parts. Dude use to drive 240's for motorsport dynamics, was one of first people to swap in LS1's into FC's and 240sx's. He is a good fabricator. He has a small shop so prices are cheaper than the bigger shops.

He posts on zilvia and has contributed to the 240sx community. I would say he is a 240sx specialist as well. He can swap SR's, RB's, CA's, KA's, LS1's, do rebuilds, make custom manifolds, and so on.

For general things, you can try Sunny Auto (Used to be United Auto) on Pacific between Larkin and Hyde in SF. It's under new owner ship, but the mechanics haven't changed.
