I took this pic a few months ago ...



It's the only one I could get just yet, but it shows how ridiculous some people can be. My neighbor whom I don't talk to (other reasons) has an S13 convertible. Spent a fortune on some butt-ugly body kit (combat style front) and having it molded into the body. Then, he puts these cheesy chrome wheels on it and some K-Mart exhaust. To top that off, he puts on a Cobra emblem from an actual Mustang Cobra ... AND ... one of those "turbo" emblems from a discount auto parts store on the trunk lid! Okay ... ummm, as if the HUGE gaping opening of the combat front bumper doesn't already let everyone know that there isn't an intercooler ... duh. If I can get more pics I will. I just don't get it.

Ah yes...the rare Nissan Cobra Turbo. Quite frankly, the whole badge swapping think baffles me.

hey- at the very least he did it to one of those 3200lb flexi-flyer chop-job convertibles instead of a hatch or coupe, right? let him have his mix-and-match blvd cruiser, so long as he doesn't screw with cars that actually have potential.

that will be my next project...a S13 convertible w/ silvia front end swap. and just trick it out visually, maybe a SR20 motor swap but nothing too extensive...that'd be sweet

I don't think he's trying to impress anyone but himself. He's a middle aged guy from S. America with a family ... also owns a Ducati (sp?) bike. I just really find it silly when people put so much time and effort into bodywork and paint, and then screw it up with tacky wheels and emblems. I mean, the paint and molded-in kit really do look good ... it's just the rest ... Blaaackh.

hey, atleast its not a Honda 240sx. I saw a hatchback with one of those red "H" emblems on it about a month ago...I REALLY wanted to run the guy off of the road just to help put the car out of its misery. WTF is this world coming to?!?!

But dude, hondas are like fast AND furious man. Vtec is WAY better than turbos and ****.

Hondas CAN be fast. But 90% are SLOW.

And where I'm at, every kid and his cousin has a honda with 18" rims, turbo exhaust, and about 50 stickers on his car. What do you say that's good for? About 5 seconds off his 1/4 time for just the stickers? Maybe another 2 seconds for the heavy rims?
