Has anyone ever dealt with this shop? The Owner Matt Monaco gave me his card and told me to check them out. Couldnt find alot on it on Nico so here i am posting a topic. I am planning on taking my car to SR20store but i might change my mind depending on what you guys think. (they are located in Vista CA)

I dealt with someone who "worked" there and he was trying to sell a s15 front clip to via craigs list, he did not come threw, as a matter of fact this guy did not have the stones to tell me that he did not want to sell the clip (1500). I did some reasearch on the shop they don't have a web site and the only thing that they have is a myspace account-fail!. I'm in san diego and I know of a real shop , it's called garage gt and it's off of convoy in san diego, I trust these guys and they have a real shop that takes credit cards, Phone line( not cell ) and have a real address, look them up.

Shogun Style Performance is a good shop. Matt is a good friend of mine, his shop is small and it's only him and like 2 other guys so they're not as big as other tuners in the area. He was in the Marines with me and Ernie Fixmer, we served in Japan for 3 years, but he got out a few years ago. His shop has moved, I don't remember where to but it's like 3 times bigger then the one he had in Vista.

He is very knowledgable and is also a great business man. Only problem is that he is not rich and cannot afford the luxury of flashy websites or gross marketing.

n2tg86, look me up man, I work on Pendleton at the airstation.

Well we should meet up for lunch one day when I get back, I just left Friday with 4 CH-46E's to come to NAS Lemoore up here by Fresno to help the local fire departments fight all these fires up here. I should be back by the 7th or the 8th.

I too have heard that Matt Monaco is a great guy and knows his stuff. My friend that had his car tuned there doesn't know where his new place is. Do you have any update? Would love to get my car tuned by him.

How's it going?? If you need an update on where shogun style performance is located it is at 935 Pointsettia Ave. Number 203, Vista CA. 92081. A lot of guys "said" they work there but there are actually only three techs, myself included. Still doing Nissan and Infinity. Among other cars.
