Hello guys,

I know this question has been asked before, but I think there should be an update of some kind..

I have the Eibach Pro kit and I love it, but I'm running on the stock shocks. Are there any aftermarket shocks that will fit to the A/C and handle the Eibach springs?
Thanks

Can you please link me to the site you bought them from?
Also I noticed that there are different models.. I think I should get the AGX, right?

I ordered mine from justsuspension.com which I was linked to from the site below and KYB customer service:

http://showmetheparts.com/kyb/

The only model they make for us is the Excel G, which is the same exact thing as the GR2, just a different color. They marketed them differently for different countries but all of the guts are exactly the same.

Great! Thanks!
But I saw in an old thread that only the rear shocks are available from KYB for our ACs.. Is that true?

... OK.. After looking at the part #, it seems that the sedan shocks will fit on the coupe..
Thanks!

It specifically lists them for the Coupe, good to go. Same part.

The site that you can buy them from doesn't have the coupe on the list, that's why I got confused..
Thanks a lot

I've had the KYB installed for over a month and I have to say the ride is much. much better than the stock one.

Ooohhhhhh yeah, most of the vendors dont list it for the Coupe, in fact most say specifically for the Sedan only. But they are in fact the same exact part, just search by the part number and you're set. I confirmed this 150% with KYB before ordering so no worries.

^Bro, wait until I get everything in so I can dismantle the spring/strut. It is absolutely frightening how mangled it is.

EDIT: And yes I am still driving 50 miles a day to/from work on it...

Oh, yeah I thought you meant it was going to break further and send me rocketing into oblivion. I dont speed on my commute for that very reason, plus Ive been driving like a grandpa since I found the damage anyway.

So do the KYB shock give it a smoother ride? better handling? or both? and will they last longer with Eibach springs then the OEM struts?

^From what Ive heard, the ride is 200x better than OEM struts/shocks + Eibachs. My buddy who drives a sedan (also had a spring break) installed them just as I am with the replacement springs and he said its night and day. Im doing my rear shocks tomorrow, struts on Saturday, and I plan on doing a full review after a week or so.
