Where can I find front shocks for my 99 Q45 base model? My tires keep wearing out in the front and I have changed the sway bar link kit already.HELP! I also need to find a place to get a motor for the back windshield blind .

One stop internet shopping for everything Infiniti at

http://www.infinitipartsusa.com

You'll see us refer to it as IOS.

I have saved literally THOUSANDS of dollars with IOS and guidance from this club.

There are a few active threads on this, do a search....but there are only two things you can do, one is buy stockers from IOS (best price), or use the only aftermarkets available which are also made by KYB but are called SR Specials. They are PITA to get, there is a palce called Memoryfab that can aquire them, they get imported from Japan. There are ZERO other choices, trust us we've looked. I put the KYB SR Specials on, a few members didn't like them as much as stock, but they are a high performance option. If you like a cushy ride, go stock. If you like a more stout ride then well worth the extra effort and time to get the SR Specials.

How many miles do you have and how long you going to keep the car? Reason I ask is you should sersiouly consider getting new strut mounts as well (IOS has these) and to replace the springs. You can get lowering springs from Memoryfab too or stock ones from IOS.

Good luck..let us know a bit more about mileage and how you like to drive and we can steer you......

The motor for the sunshade:

GEAR & MOTOR ASSY
Part Number: 97581-3H000
I.O.S. Price: $235.58

That's not too bad considering that the sun shade complete 97580-3H190 (motor and shade) costs $1,271.75 (List $1,565.23)
There was a TSB issued for it : Refer to TSB ITB00-001
