Has anyone replaced their shocks on their G35 sedans, if so which brand did you choose. I was thinking of going with Bilsteins.

If you have to do shocks, you may look into coilovers. It is more expensive, but makes a huge difference in handling.

I used 350Z spring and shocks. Ride got worse to say the least... I am looking at shocks as well. I was thinking about keeping the 350z springs for the ride height and getting different shocks for a better ride.

What is your goal? Mine is stiff but handles really nice and I only paid $150 shipped!

i have had bilsteins on all my 4x4 trucks i owed and i love them. I have them on the 4x4 Xterra, and it rides awesome on and offroad. I hear great things about Bilsteins performance shocks made for luxury sedans. I will probably go with the bilsteins.

the d specs are a very popular choice, since they are adjustable.

Depends on how much you are looking to spend.

Coilovers are the way to go if you can save up, get those. Makes it simple for adjustments and you dont have to mix/match for the dampening rates.

Bilsteins are also great, as mentioned.

I have never messed with anything suspension before. Ive always just taken my cars and say "give me an alignment." If you get coilovers will you have to mess with aftermarket camber and/or toe adjusters or anything else? The reason i'm asking is because the coilovers say height adjustment. I know when you lower cars it can really mess with your alignment and rape your tires. I hate not knowing something -.-

What do you do for a living to afford a turbo and coilovers?

Looking at Stance GT+ coilovers which say they come with "Adjustable camber uppermount." Any ideas if the uppermounts would be enough or would I also need a camber kit?I am just looking to lower the G predominatly used on the street. Perhaps some track events in the future......

I have no such thing as an oil well in my back yard. Infact i dont have a back yard really. i do work for an oil service company though.

As for the shocks you shouldnt need any camber adjustment parts outside of the coil over itself. They really made a big difference in ride and trust me its alot better than stock.

Thanks! I think this will be my next mod. Found the parts for app. $1200. Can't eat tires too much faster than I am now I'm waiting for my fast intentions exhaust and am too chicken to mess with the intake end until I figure out if my engine is burning oil.
