recently after autocrossing and racing at limerock my shocks are now useless. I need to replace them before i autocross again and i need to know if the hicas system requires any different kind of parts for suspension compared to the regular 240sx. Also any kind of shocks anyone would recomend for track racing 3-4 times a year and 8-10 autocrosses a year. Not alot of money to spend the most i would spend would be 400 maybe 500 .

What kind of springs are you using?

I love my AGX's and they seem to be quite the proved option for the 240, but the KOni units are more durable...but lack extrenal adjustment in the rear (IIRC).

AGX's will be more than adequate, and will allow you to adjust them up once they atart to fade..-Chet

So the hicas system has no effect on the suspension choice. Also would it be worth it to give out a little more money to get the konis or is it not worth the extre cash?

I don't think it would be worth the extra cash with stck springs.

HICAS should be removed....I dislike it for a lot of reasons, the biggest being its weight and odd handling quirks under hard cornering.

this is what the people who make the agx said

LewisWe do not offer a rear strut for the Hicas system. They have a different knuckle and spring seat.

That sink man. Koni makes them, but they're wicked expensive. Anyone else have a suggestions?-CHet
