HI,I've been leaning towards getting the H&R Sport springs for my s13 and just want to know which shocks best suit them... AGXs? Tokicos? etc..

Anyone have these springs on their s13? Pictures would be great because I'd love to see how low the car actually sits with them on..

Your Reply is Greatly Appreaciated!

Thanks:D

I have those springs on my S14 with Tokico blues. The car rides as good if not better than stock. Not too stiff, not too soft, not too low. I have to enter/exit some places that have steep driveways at an angle. It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have an SE, that front spoiler is just prone to scrubbing. I would have to remove the spoiler if the car were any lower or it would scrub on several places that I visit often. I may get some adjustable struts later on and go a little stiffer. All in all, the set up that I have is near perfect for my taste. Oh, and it does not pogo at all.

Hello,

The H&R springs should match pretty well with KYB AGX struts. I actually got a pair of KYB AGX front struts for sale. PM me if you are interested. I am also in norcal.

yeah, I really like the AGXs but I'm also leaning towards the Tokicos (i've heard good stuff about 'em, plus they cost less than AGXs)..

Anyone have pics of their s13 on H&R Sport springs? Or know where I can find some?

Thanks

One word, Bilstein. If you buy anything else to go with your H&R springs, you will regret it. Yet you won't know why you're regretting it until you pair them with some Bilstein Sport shocks. In all honesty, you should go find a Porsche or BMW board for information about which shocks will pair best with H&R Springs. There aren't many people running those springs on a 240.

I had the option to get some H&R Springs. Instead I bought the Eibach Pro-Kit and have regretted it on and off ever since. The only time I like my Eibachs are when I'm cruising on the freeway at 80. They soak up the bumps perfectly. Other than that, they BLOW.

Man, I should have kept the Bilsteins and just got some H&R Springs. Bah, live and learn....
