shocks/struts?

so ive done some reading of past threads and saw a couple people talking about older sentras (b15u 2000-2006) having the same part numbers for front and rear shocks/struts as the coupe. and infact they do according to courtesy parts. has anyone actually tried this yet to see if they would fit? im dieing to put on a set of springs but dont want to wear my stock struts down to the point they blow.
