Tein Basic Damper: 890 (list, you can probaly find them cheaper)

http://www.tein.com/badamp.html

They are about 200 dollars more than a KYB AGX with Prokit setup, which features damping force adjustment. While the BAs dont' but have ride height adjustabilty

"Better" in only an opinion that is completely invalid unless you've experienced both Tokico and KYB. Tokico is an extremely reputable manufacturer (as is KYB).

If you want adjustable shocks because you go to the track and drive competitively and stuff, go for KYB AGX since Tokico doesnt make adjustable shocks for 240SX.

If you don't adjust your shocks, and you are more of a daily driver, just go with the Tokico HP (nonadjustable). This shocks work wonderfully with Eibach Prokit for me. I use my car for daily driving, but with this setup, the car handles better on turns than stock. Zero loss in ride quality. I'd say its the daily driver's performance suspension setup.

I have driven on both and on the softer settings the KYB and Tokico are fairly close in ride comfort. If you do more spirited driving from time to time, the KYB does offer more performance handling.
