Hey guys and girls, I was wondering what the general opinion of KYB AGX adjustable shocks/struts was? Ill be putting them on a '90 240sx fastback. Theres also the KYB GR2s which are about half the price (but are they just as good for my purposes?). Also, ill put springs on at the same time. Im thinking either Whiteline or Eibach springs. I saw a previous thread about these, but any more opinions on these would be appreciated. Thanks yall. Im not quite the mechanical genius i want to be. :)

whats "your purposes"

are you:a. going for looksb. going for looks and better handling on a street basisc. going for a street/track card. going for a NEAR race spec, but streetable care. racing it, no holds barred, having other transportation

if its for A or B, i'd use the gr2 with eibachs, since they use progressive springs.for C, eibachs with AGX's will be nice, or get a linear-rate spring with the AGX's, the SGX is a nice weekend raceer shock, because it allows adjustability and aid in tuning the suspension the way you want it.

for D or E, **** the spring/shock combo options, go get some qulity coil voers like TEIN, Apex-I , ZEAL or maybe even JIC.

O yea, Eibach makes quality springs... I'd get that over Whiteline. Try looking into H&R as well.

Thanks, i appreciate all of the opinions. Im not too knowledgable about such things, yet. My purposes, as I put it in my original message, are mainly street use, at least for now. I dont have alot of money to blow on making my car a full-out racer as of yet. Ill probably get the GR2s, and the springs ill need to look at a little closer. Thanks guys/gals.
