good shocks for 91 hardbody king cab 2 wd. I am having energy suspension bushings polyurethane and center support driveshaft bearing done this week. I want to do the shocks myself and am looking for good but reasonablely priced shocks. I want a good street ride and towing and load hauling is hardly efer done. I am looking for a smooth ride. Anyone know of some better than monroe shocks everyone here sells locally? Anyone used bielstien or eibach or KYB etc. Anyone who has done better aftermarket shocks could use a recomendation. Thanks in advance for any insight you guys have.

I have favorable views on KYB gas-ajust shocks. Summit carries them.

I was thinking Tokico Blues but I am still undecided.

depends on the ride you're looking for... i like the KYB monomax because they are a little stiffer than the gas a just and reduce roll in cornering

Here's my suspension thread:

I'm very happy with the KYB GR2s that I installed... check online, there was a fairly wide range of prices.

advice. I think the KYB gas ones will be my choice for the street ride. I hardly ever haul anything of any weight. The new energy suspension bushings I put on rock. New shocks ought to be the ticket to finish off the project. Thanks again the article was great anfd had good info.
