Shocks and Springs help for 93 convertible

So, I've been in search of some suspension setups, but not wanting to spend way too much but need to change them while the convertible top is off. I don't wanna lower it too much but want better handling so I guess I'm looking for stiffer shocks or springs?

Also, I've noticed that some springs are not compatible with the convertible setup so that's why I need ya'lls help.

the reason why is because the verts share the same suspension as the 300ZX. if you want improved handling, simply lowering your car won't give you that much. go with some adjustable dampers to get the full effect of better suspension. btw, why do you need to change them with your top of. the suspension should be accessible with the top on

It's just easier to get to the bolts with it off. What suspension setup did you go with? So should I start researching suspension for 300ZX's?

No no buy suspension for a 240. If i were you i would go w/ some aftermarket shocks. they won't change your ride height at all but they will increase handling. And if you want a small lowering spring maybe an eibach pro-kit or something(these will lower but don't do much for increased spring rate).

i'm still running the stock suspension, but i'm going to upgrade to KBY AGX adjustables soon. Another popular set of coilovers are JIC's. I would look at the 300ZX shocks, but make sure you double check that they will fit your 240.

Well, looks like i'm going to stick with the stock springs, and just buy some KYB AGX adjustables. If anyone runs across some springs that will work with the convertible PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! I'm desperate! I wanted to do the springs and shocks at the same time but looks like I may have to wait because I wanna make sure they fit before I order springs.
