Has anyone done this before with a? One of my cylinder is not working. The ohms read at 7.7OHMS. How would i shock it to jump start the fuel injector again? Does anyone have any good idea to making it work again?

Never tried it, but at most, it's a band aid. The broken thing needs to be replaced.

I can't for the life of me understand why so many people are trying to cheap out on these cars lately. It's going to cause more headaches down the road.

You have a 93 N/A. You have old style injectors. The injectors have been exposed to ethanol for a long time now. The ethanol has broken down the disc that controls the duty cycle. The injector is dying. End of story. Replace it.

Exactly what Ace said, and "shocking" the injector will not work, period. Also, don't buy just one, do the job once and replace all of them. Get the newer style injectors, they can handle ethanol better since that is not going away. A little more expensive, but trust me, completely worth it. If you go on TT.net, a guy name Bernie has the newer style injectors in the rail with pigtails for a very reasonable price.

You would need to get the adapter kit for new style injectors. It's basically just the connectors themselves that you solder in, plus some adapters that you drop into the fuel rail itself so that the new injectors sit properly. It's totally worth it though. I actually bought my adapter kit from Z1 and then bought stock remanufactured injectors(sonic cleaned and flow tested) off ebay for ~$125 and they've been working great. I'm not recommending it or anything but if you're short on cash or something it's better than a bandaid.
