I had just decided to put my stock 89 240sx SE HB 5speed with 188K miles up for sale today (I just ordered my new Z). I got 4 offers in 24 hours for my 240 and I didn't even put an ad in the paper. I'm amazed...

To say its the new civic is an insult to the whole nissan 240 family.....

Yes its gained popularity emmensely..

Everyone wants one but there will never be enough 240s around for all the ricers to screw up....

We must make our cars that much nicer than the fools who get their hands on one and butcher it up.

i agree to call it the new civic is a tottal and utter insult to all of us 240 drivers, and too the that no plenty enough to go around to rice out your wrong.. there was this POS S13 with altezza kights and whatever else rice mods are out there sadly bolted onto the car.(iam sad now).

But back to the topic. For sure, 240's have been getting redicoulsly popular like everyone in the mom wants one. but iam proud to say i have the only S13, 240 in fact at my school. there is talk about people buying one and blah blha blha but no results yet.. but that is sad to hear you having to say goodbye to your S13, i could not bare with it just becuase my struggle was emense to take hold of mine. everything leading up to it and then searching for one.. sorry for the long post hope you get top dollar for that car.

i saw a s14 that looked like a fnf reject 2 days ago...it made me tear up...and i mean that literally...i left him a note telling him to lay off the APC

They're pretty popular as used cars that enthusiasts don't drive around here, you see them, but few sporty drivers have em. VERY few turbo swaps too, besided its not about having a car that everyone else has (very few mk3 supras around here) its about using the car you have too be fun and improve YOUR driving skill.

I love the S13, Nothing against the S14 guys.. But in all honesty I dont think there is a car in the world that is more appealing to me than a black S13...

maybe if I had a gigantic bank roll I would feel different

i went to an autocross meet this weekend and i espected to see a lot of 240's but there were only 3 including mine. since i bought my first one 3 years ago there werent any in my area. then boom within the last 2 years they have increased significantly. most of them are ragged out pos though. :batman

Its a cheap RWD car too buy. Of course lots of young punks can buy them. Few can afford too add forced induction though, so you have a bunch of guys with ragged 240's they beat on and blow up. Just the nature of the car aging.

You should see all the old timer Mk3 Supra guys who hate the car is cheap now, not exclusive and punk kids can afford too buy them.

Hey just: I set my asking price at $2K and got it without blinking. I'm sure I could have easily gotten $3K if I advertised it. (she's pristine, and original, no rice), but I'm selling her to my mechanic who's giving it to his son who just got his license. Sad to see her go as I'm the original owner, but I'm sure I'll get over it as soon as I take delivery of my new "redline" Z...

240s have RWD, thats probably the biggest selling point, as well as being sporty, but not impractical, and congrats on the Z, what trim did u get??

I Believe the 240 is getting very popular too.. All my friends love my car except my brother is a DSM freak!!!! i hate DSMs go to fast for cheap lol but break down lol

To break the news but 240sx are not that expensive to get. Anyways, I have only seen 3 240sx's from where I live so long live the 240.
