1990 s13 hatch dd w/worn out shocks and springs. i'm going for the eibach pro-kit springs, not so superawsome in drop but acceptable, progressive spring rate and my choice over rsr (my previous choice). now i just need shocks that can handle these springs. drop is 1.8 in front, 1.6 rear. any suggestions? laugh at me if my own research of kyb gr2s and monroe senstrac won't even cut it, but pls don't shout out coilovers cause that's not my goal. just a daily driver wanting a bit more "oomph" "vroom" and "ahh" than the norm.

coilovers...

just get GR-2s. no point in getting AGX when they will only give you a rough ride to the point where you may as well have coils.

Going for looks, economy or performance?

I do like the AGX dapmers with an appropriate coil choice. The GR2s are 10% firmer than stock and are designed as a cheaper version of the Tokiko Blue option. How much you looking to spend? I have the Nismo S-Tune damper/spring combo and I love it. Go search for my postings on the subject. It's too early to use my brain...

True-er words were never spoken... No love for AGX's or any Tokico's here. (See sig ) Hell, no love for any strut spring set up... Well, maybe except Koni w/ Ground Controls...

i would say 60% economy with 35% performance and 5% looks.

i can't really say i'd see myself spend $500 on just the shocks alone at this stage. live by myself, paying for school (which is $23,744 for 10 months btw), car, phone, credit card, just turned 25 so i don't have medical anymore (mom's a nurse), so $500 is like 4 months of constant vigilance (aka starving my mouth and my gas tank)

Frsport.com has a great price on the gr-2s and they are a sponsor.
