Ok, I know this has been asked a gazillon times and the info is here but my search skills are lacking. Please accept my apology for being computer challenged and asking the same ol 'questions. I need to install shocks on the Q. Would someone please point me to the info that will show how to perform this task efficiently and correct? The fronts seemed to be pretty straight forwards, But removing that back seat???? I also acquired a brand new set of Ebach springs for the Q' during some horse trading a while back. Figured I might want to try them some time. This may be that time while I am that far in. Whats the thoughts on using these springs? I understand they are not manufactured anymore. Discontinued aftermarket parts sometimes spooks me. I always have to ask why? Was it because they were junk or....? Do they live up to the claim? Opinions? Suggestions and tips gladly accepted. Also, I like to go back with as much new/fresh components as possible during a job such as this. What rubber or bushing could be upgraded/ replaced at this time. Thanks

you get to the rear through the trunk with the paneling removed. just as straight forward as the fronts. as far as overlapping work there isn't much other than removing the wheels because of the suspension design. soft parts in the strut mounts are really the only thing that would be no additional work but the suspension isn't complicated so pretty much anything you want to replace is 2 bolts (tension/traction/toe rods, sway bar bushings/endlinks, etc.).

i would guess the eibachs were d/c'ed due to lack of interest.

Be sure to replace shocks, dust boots, and upper seats at the same time as stiffer springs will destroy used shocks fast.

The fronts being only 15% stiffer and linear with be less affected than the rears which start out <equal and rise to 160% as they compress.

Every rubber bushing that is original or not replaced in the last 5 years.

A rear a model bar will do wonders if you have good tires. Cheap tires or weak and heavy wheels negates all.
