Really doubt it, but not sure. But if you take a pic of the shock tower and mounting point on the spindle then we could tell you.

I just thought they were the same car and came off the same line.

Maybe cmkelly can chime in...think he used to have a M30 vert...or two. He may know if they are different.

Technically there were never any 240sx vert's of the "line".From my understanding they were all coupes that were then converted to a vert by an outside company.

What he said ^^^^. All 240sx verts were auto coupes that were modded by the company ASC. Convertibles were partially assembled in Japan and then shipped to American Specialty Cars (ASC) in California for final assembly. They were then distributed to US Nissan dealers.

And from what i can see, they have nothing in common with a M30. Mounting and length look different.

Unless someone can prove me wrong and say for sure they work, ill bet they dont.

The M30 and the 240sx are completely different vehicles.

The 240sx is the sister of the Silvia from Japan. The M30 is the sister of the Leopard from japan. Completely different chassis.

Now, that doesn't mean that there is no chance of compatibility of certain parts between the two cars, but the chances are slim. I think the suspension is NOT the same from a prior conversation I recall with an M30 owner.

Yeah, like others have said, they were two completely differently vehicles. I doubt the shocks are the same but they were made in during the same model years so it might warrant further research.

What’s the delta in cost between the 240 shocks and the proper ones for the M30? I could never tell the difference between the “Sport” and “Comfort” settings anyway. I do miss my M30 though.

They looked similar, so I had to check M30 part diagram for the quarter window mechanism. They were totally different.
