I am searching now but no luck and it needs to get done tonight.

I am replacing my shocks with tokicos and they are hanging about three inches past where the two bolts go in behind the brake. Any suggestions for pulling/pushing them up to get the bolts in? thanks for the help in advance

is your spring compressed all the way it should be? it being loose would take up some of that extra space you need

yeah the spring is compressed all of the way, it still needs a couple inches, I cant get a jack in and i have tried putting on the spring compressors in the well but there isnt enough room.

Your knuckle won't go any lower?Perhaps if you loosened some of the suspension arms, it'll move lower, like the front tension rod.

K thanks for all of your help, only took 4 hours to do one front shock but it works. If anyone else runs into this problem and searches, Bolt in the tops, undo the suspension arms, push down on the arm, up on the shock and try to slide a bolt in through the knuckle and shock to hold it, secure the other bolt then jack up the control arm to replace the the rod nut that was removed and you should be good.
